We're excited too, and glad you're interested in participating! We'll be debuting the pilot episode on First Friday Art Tour and talking to potential investors before and afterwards. Once we secure funding for the additional episodes, we can start talking to people about being part of it. This site will keep you updated.

Hi, Gertrude; sorry it seemed like we weren't keeping up - we'd added the full poem and didn't want anyone to lose a chance to see it. And we've been spending a little more time on Facebook than here at the website. We have far from fizzled out! We're going crazy in the editing room right now and plan to showcase the ENTIRE pilot episode of Junk Art Scramble at the Digital Media Factory on May 6 - First Friday Art Tour! Until then, we're keeping mum on whose artwork the judges actually selected.

[...] This poem by the late Morton Marcus (and read by his wife, writer/teacher Donna Mekis) is the inspiration for the works created by Team Cabrillo and Team Tannery for the pilot episode of Junk Art Scramble. When you hear it, you’ll see how utterly perfect it was for this purpose – let your mind move along with the poem and see what images it forms for you as you hear it!
